re:which the Israelis took from them at the close of WW2 and in the 1967 war. Most Israelis want to hold the land that they took post WW2, and many Israelis want to hold the land they took in the 1967 war.

LOL, Israel was established after WW2 and 1967 borders are recognized by UN so there is no such thing as want there. Israel also has the right to annex all the territories under occupation which also would be recognized but Israel chose not to.

Who are you kidding? Israel has the right to annex Palestinian land because she was attacked by Syria or Egypt? You're confused.

re: Why does he support the idea of Iraq as a place where all religions should be free to be practiced equally, and support Israel as a Jewish state?

LOL, Israel recognizes all religions and have muslims and christians in the Kneset. There good books and articles written about Israeli government system

The Muslims are nearly 20% of the Israel's population. How many Muslims occupy Knesset seats?

The Israeli Arab reality:

"Israeli Arabs have faced severe discrimination in land use, building rights, education and social services since Israel’s establishment in 1948. The one exception was the 1992-95 tenure of Yitzhak Rabin, the Prime Minister whose centre-left coalition depended on a tacit alliance with Arab MPs."

[EDIT]An Israeli rightwinger from the Likud party assassinated Rabin because he did not agree with Rabin's policies!]
