I was briefly fooled by it too, and then started digging after EnergyPlay was skeptical. It's all posted earlier on this thread.

Our beloved "Senator for Life" Ted Stevens flew cargo planes over the Himalayas during WWII. Now he brings home the bacon to Alaska in the form of large federal spending projects, one of which was an expensive super-computer for climate research at the University of Alaska in Fairbanks. He made a famous offhand comment that this computer could be used for research on ways to generate electricity for from the Northern Lights. Needless to say this silly idea caused lots of amusement in the press, and embarrassment for him. <ggg>
