Perhaps FBI agents who conspire with outsiders to violate classified government databases are considered more suspect if they conspire with the wrong non-cleared outsiders, from the wrong ethnic group.

Or maybe not.

Maybe someone is throwing up a smokescreen in front of the central issue in this case, conspiring with federal agents to violate classified government databases. It's not hard to figure out that ongoing FBI investigations are not typical matters of public record.
