Rasmussen has Kerry ahead today for the first time in months. All that proves is that none of these polls mean anything. Expect that it's a very close race will be decided by a few battleground states not the national numbers.

One can point to contradictory polls in every single battleground state. Arkansas and Hawaii are reported in polls as now being tied. But this will come down to Florida and Ohio, unless one goes to each candidate, then it will be decided by the next tier. No one in the country knows how any of those close states will go. Kerry and Bush are therefore tied with voter turn-out making all the difference. But even "tied" one could win by 100+ electoral votes. Either one.

When it comes to voter turn-out, I like Kerry's chances more and more and more, especially amongst the great unpollables.
