So, I let it ride for long while. Not wanting to be pushy. Try to be the nice guy. So 3 years later, I inquire again, figuring 3 years on 30 days was generously nice. Reply:

"The guy I was in business with on the trading strategy lost all his money AND all the money I was "supposed to get" 14 months ago. Turns out he was running a Ponzi scheme and a Federal Grand Jury was called on him. I was a star witness, and was cleared of any wrongdoing since I did not have the authority to move money in and out of the account I was trading...

I will put my debt to you as a first priority, and any additional money I might pull in from now on will go to you. I am living a very, very spartan life right now and have been for four years.

All that is going to change when Market Spirit is completed, hopefully before Christmas."

Three guesses on the outcome, anybody? I like the self-important Grand Jury thingie. Sounds like another famous SI poster. Are all of SI's famous posters on the same Grand Jury, I wonder?
