It was the Left who refused to give Bush's court nominees even so much as a fair hearing

This is not the type of thing that unites or divides a country.

it was the Left who chronically treated Bush as though he was some sort of mental defective

He is, isn't he?

it was the Left who attempted to steal the election in Florida.

This also did not "divide" the country.

It is interesting that these false accusations are made against a man who, as governor of Texas, was universally believed to be a "uniter".

He didn't get a chance to get involved in international relations while governor of Texas. And if he was so good at uniting while governor of Texas, perhaps he should quit his current post (where he is the most divisive President I can recall) and run for another term as governor of Texas. I'll even submit an illegal ballot for him for that post!

What, SPECIFICALLY, makes you believe Bush is a "divider"?

Alienated a huge chunk of the American population through his un-American activities in his campaign to improve America's safety (much of America doesn't like anyone's civil liberties getting destroyed by OUR government), cite his religious beliefs repeatedly and their influence on setting policy (much of American appreciates the separation of church and state), and his failure to execute well on the post-major combat operations in Iraq (much of America doesn't want a President to fail in major overseas operations which involve their kids lives).

That's a few.
