| | He did the same thing with me: "I don't appreciate legal threats, my friend."
Thing is, I never threatened him. I told him I was getting the ball rolling, which I'm following through in progressive stages. The opportunity is always there to make good and just settle the matter. Threats are where you posture a lot, blowing a lot of sizzle without steak. This is a start, one of many possible starts.
Me: "I notified Bob and Dave, last week, about your activities of soliciting and swindling people via SI's PM feature over the past six years. I have a fair amount of data regarding your interactions with other members. In progressive stages, I think it'll come down to publicly searching for a responsible adult benefactor to carry your load since the words "responsible" and "adult" have had little impart in your life's lexicon... Separately, Bob is aware of my intent to proceed as necessary through legal channels for garnishment/attachment of wages for the Cousin Shorty articles.
Failing that you should do the "Right Thing" for someone who helped you in time of need, these are simply preliminary avenues. I've recognized and have suffered from your inability to do the right thing for six years, and I've completely considered the variable success percentages of each avenue. Beyond preliminaries, please do not be under any illusion that I haven't investigated other deeper paths.
One of us is taking this seriously. And, well... stating the obvious, it's only one of us, since if it were more than one of us, it wouldn't have taken six years now, would it?! <gg>"
TLC (classic one-liner): "I generally try to avoid people that threaten me." |
