Goddamit! People around the world don't "like" Muslims... That's really the typical mindset of the American redneck... "I like you"... "I hate you"... "US is good"... "Islam and Arabs are bad"... "Jesus will save my ass"... etc. It's really no surprise that, with such a primitive, Manichean mindset, you Yanks got killed everywhere, presently in Iraq... You behave like a herd of baby bulls in a china shop...
Likewise, doesn't virtually every country/population that borders Russians not like them? Afghanistan, Georgia-Chechnya, Hungary, Poland, the Baltic States (Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania), the list goes on....
It seems Russians are a bit tough to live next to.
In the former USSR the newly independent republics don't even like each other.
Maybe the problem is that the Russians haven't accepted the idea of living in the 21st century and the freedoms other peoples expect these days, and they need to modernize themselves, or suffer the consequences. |
