Florida is nice in the winter – if you are into golf, beaches, boating and shopping. How long that would hold my interest I don't know. One thing for sure the summers are too hot and humid for my taste. Last winter I spent a few weeks in the Ft. Myers area – quite pleasant and reasonable prices for the staples. Medical care is fine and they must have familiarity with geriatrics by necessity; so perhaps that should be a serious future consideration. Hopefully, I have a few more years to decide where and how to relocate. Frankly I do not look forward to retiring and think I might go stir crazy -- and after all don't they say, "an idle brain is the Devil's workshop"?
