Where do you get these outlandish views from?

As has been pointed out time and again, Bush has significant accomplishments in his life that could only have been made with substantial intellectual ability.

This is news to me. My understanding of his history is that the main reason he has been able to get where he is is because of family connections. Most everyone agrees that if he were not George senior's son, he would never have become Governor of Texas (why would the Texas GOP choose a complete unknown as their nominee) and he certainly would NEVER have become the GOP's presidential candidate if not for the conservative backing that stems from his father's name and reputation (mainly the link to Reagan).

Virtually nobody (including George) discusses one of George's great strengths being his intellectual ability. Certainly nobody has been pointing it out "time and again".

Methinks you are one of few among the population that admire George's substantial intellectual ability.
