The change was made to One Nation Under God and the phrase Indivisible syntactly now modifies God, meaning that God is indivisible and not the nation. For southerners the pledge is now an oath to combine church & state. Your analysis is totally wrong. Indivisible still modifies nation. Nice try though. It's a simple list. The one nation is indivisible and has liberty and justice for all. The change just added a third item to the list so that the nation is under god, indivisible, and has liberty and justice for all. You can disagree that under God should be in there, but don't make stuff up. Brian
