I agree there are many wintel programs that are good. However, where I live (Nashville) macs are used by 99% of the professionals for ease of use, plus the fact they can do more, faster. Most of our production houses have both platforms available, but the wintels gather dust. This is also true in our graphics houses and video production facilities.

I am not trying to put down the wintels. Just stating a fact.

and, yes, on a personal level, I prefer Mac.
