Larry S., I'll hold my shares of AIG. AIG has a broad swath of insurance businesses over many geographic regions. I expect that the fines and adjustments they will make to their business practices regarding the specific complaints Mr. Spitzer has will be offset by the revenues/profits from their other businesses.

OTOH, for Marsh, which primarily (if I'm correct) acts as an insurance broker, the Spitzer complaint could (?) get to the heart of how they make their money. If their business model is now flawed, they and their competitors may have quite some difficulty in changing their assets/processes to earn profits. I don't know and so I question whether MMC is a value stock now. I'm avoiding this one for now. JMO... and I've been wrong many, many times.
