Neil, ahlan va sahlan ya akhi, how are things in the sanddome of Saud? There is wide speculation by some (non-US) observers that the sand castle may crumble within 2 years, if the current opposition to AQ keeps up. What is your opinion of this? Last I checked, Kuwait, Saudi, and even Jordan were full of 5-star terrorists (see an excerpt below)...but before we go further, do you speak Arabic? If so, have you gone to a Friday prayer lately? If you look American, it is unlikely you can get into most Saudi mosques, especially the more radica...I mean main stream ones <vbg>. But if you are really interested, there are a few Ayat from Quran that if you quote, will oblige them to let you in.

Anyway, my question to you is this: How can a society with religious beliefs like Saudis ever make in-roads in destroying Al Qaeda? It would be like saying American government could wage a successful war against freedom of speech. In pressuring the Saudi government into taking arms against AQ, are we not in fact speeding up their demise? May be it is time to start making buddies with the Saudi Shia who live over all the oil fields and cut the losses with the rest of the country.

Sami al-Mutairi is a Young wealthy Kuwaiti boy, well-educated, with luxury Western life style. Two of his brothers study in France and London, and his sister in Italy. Yet, he wanted to join Bin Laden, but the Iranian government arrested him at the border with Afghanistan, and expelled him to his homeland Kuwait. He was more determined to give up, so he acted on his own, and killed an American contactor in Kuwait. This boy who has sentenced for life in prison, is a big question! He didn't practice his Islamic faith, he was pro-Western life. While in university, he was very liberal. For example , once he marched in support of Kuwaitis women's right for vote. The Kuwaiti foreign mister says, how a person like this young boy could carry so hate in him to carry out such an evil deed!
