Ted, I am tired of US $$$ maintaining a regional superpower. Well, so is Buchanan and many other "anti-Zionists" (for lack of a better word). Unfortunately, if we unilaterally withdrew our support dollars for Israel, we're not going to see any reciprocating action from the Arab powers supporting Palestine. Worse yet, they'll probably be encouraged to become more belligerent towards Israel. Not your problem, you say? We'll see (or maybe not, for reasons I won't bother to go into). In all seriousness, Israel's arsenal dwarfs anything the Arabs have. The likelihood of them attacking Israel in any concerted effort is nil to zero. Israel castrated them long ago. ted
