The explosives were gone when the troops got there having been moved while Bush fooled around at the UN.

BTW, those explosives were a drop in the bucket. US soldiers have been blowing up munitions 7 days a week since the war started. 50 to 100 tons a day from various dumps and always at the same time of day. When the ground shakes it's time for supper. So far only 15% of what was in Iraq has been destroyed.
