It appears on the face that Bush has thwarted several attacks. How many attacks during Clinton's term? 5 6? That is a pace of one every year and a half. How many attacks since 9/11? None! At Clinton's pace we should have been attacked at least once more if not twice. Bush has shifted the field of conflict. It is now Iraq instead of America. Perhaps you would prefer if Boston were attacked next?
