Maybe what I said is a bit excessive, but it sure takes longer time to heal than in Vietnam case. Why? There are two more factors in this Iraqi conflict-- religious factor and its historical content. From the very beginning, Bush calls it as it is<g> "a Crusade". There is no any historic conflict bet. the US and Vietnam, and most Vietnamese are either believe no religion, or Buddhism (although I might be wrong on this<g>), which is the most generous, multi-God "religion" (the reason I put a quote on is because by a lot of definition, Buddhism is not really a religion.) on the planet. This makes the wound heal much faster. Not to mention the US soldiers made plenty of “mixture” babies in Vietnam<g>. that helps too. Can you say the same for Iraq? I doubt it.
