My friends and pals..........

Who'd a thunk that 12 years ago a man from a town named Hope would go on to turn America around from a devastated economy to the biggest surplus in our nation's history in 8 short years? The biggest rise in our nation's GDP in modern history was on his watch.

Who'd a thunk that, in the following 4 years a man whose only positive accomplishment was being a decent pom-pom cheerleader would take that surplus and grind it into the earth, along with every environmental regulation possible, take us into a war we did not have good reason for, remove our military from Afghanistan where our real enemy was, allowed over 8,000 American life-changing injuries, and over 1,167 good young Americans so far to die for, to squander so many billions of our tax dollars for the greed of his "All The President's Men", and still have a chance of The Big Lie one more time.?

Who'd a thunk that a true patriot, a man who served 4 years in the U.S. Navy, volunteering for duty in the most hazardous terrains of Vietnam, guiding thinly-skinned Swiftboats into harm's way on a daily basis, only accruing 6 or so medals in the process, would come back to have to defend his actions to a true pussy of a sitting President?

And who'd a thunk that the Red Sox, cursed since 1918 for trading the "Babe" would come back and smack that bigassed Republican George Steinbrenner back into his fetal position?
And of all teams, at just this time, the Red Sox are from John's home. Maybe we can now call Boston our new city called "Hope #2".

Do ya'll think it's our time?
