The cross shouldn't have been there in the first place. Who gets to decide that? You? Common sense decides that. The Christian cross is no more appropriate on government documents than the Jewish star of David, the Muslim crescent moon or whatever the Satanist's symbol is. If you are not Jewish, would you want the Star of David on all (or any) of your government papers, or in your government's workplace?
