that's a valid point. but look a little deeper into the poll that came out 2 days ago. Some 45% of bush supporters still do not know that they did not find WMD and that Saddam had links to Al Queda. (Somebody explain me, how could this be true in a literate nation like US ?) Given their ignorance, is it any wonder that they think Bush is honest ? if I chose to be so ignorant, than Bush would be my logical choice. Unfortunately, I can not do that.

Regarding his performance : Did a superb job with war in Afganistan. Did Average to decent job with the economy (it's still not so great, but he inherited a sinking economy). Did great for religious christian groups. Did very bad job for Womens rights, gay/lesbian rights and environment. Did a nightmarish job in Iraq - And thats my biggest gripe. He lied repeatedly and got caught so many times. At the end of the day, instead of fighting Bin Laden, mohammad Omar and Al-Zawahari, we are battling Al-Sadr, baathists and people we dont even know. Got so many american killed due to his lies and got us in this horrible situation. You call this good performance ? Wow, has any republican done anything bad in your views ever ?

Lets see, staying is course in a nightmare situation in Iraq is less idiotic than changing the approach ? or do you mean that Bush is more capable than kerry to adopt a different approach ?
And no Kerry doesn't have to tell me Iraq is a mess. Try reading some newspapers and watch some news on TV (except FOX). I assure you reality is not pleasant, but you can handle it (-:
