Six months is nothing. That means a day after day improvement ending at full restoration of normal production at the end of April. Newspapers MUST sensationalize everything. Little deals become big deals. I personally think that oil will stay fairly high because all the measures required to lower its price such as the vastly improved clean use of coal energy, the installation of new nuclear reactors, the perfection of the pebble bed technology for nuclear reactors, people buying smaller cars, car manufacturers making cars with more efficient fuel use, moving closer to one's work, subsidizing public transportation, moving from a house to an apartment, domination of Iraq by another ruthless tyrant who will eliminate the randomness of murder making it systematic, by him of course, all of these will take years and years to have effect. By that time the world's oil reserves will be down some. More efficient use of energy and oil depletion are proceeding in parallel.
