Bob,
Rather than appear here as you have already done,
have this handled as if Warren Buffet bought SI last week
lock, stock and barrel [Idiom / Expression everything, all assets]
and hired for $1/year his friend Bill Gates to be SI Admin.

Bill would read: Silicon Investor Terms of Use Agreement
siliconinvestor.com
Welcome to Silicon Investor!

Then Bill would call Warren on the telephone and complain that
he did not get a complete package, as first off there is no
discription of what the "Silicon Investor Service" is.

But thats mild comparied to the $h!t Bill Gates given Warren
about the TOU being vague, does not list conditions specific enough
such that a new Admin can come aboard and apply the TOU
to the "letter of the law" when double speak and half speak
and not speak and un-null-none-all speak is how the TOU is worded.

Alice in Wonder Land via through the "eyes" of the TOU
(or)
whomever happen to be the Admin at the point in time

Sure, we all know what SI is, right?
Sure, why not since "Silicon Investor Service" is...
is?

In the TOU itemized as what?

The features you encounter once using?

What happens to be happening, current postings?

Past posting?

What determines future postings is?

If you cannot control future postings, then current and past postings
will define SI, not the TOU since its not defined by specifics,
but using vague aka "You know what this means."

Please correct me, but where is SI's purpose stated?

Home page?

Sure, contain market news.

But, also recently invited new membership to post about Iraq.

Making a board to identify an investment opportunity is ok,
so it can include what investments? markets, public people?

Then, identification includes "great opportunity" and "warning."

Seems TLC is a public figure on SI via his articles on SI's home page.

The vague TOU seems to lean towards comments on public figures
being ok to post or make boards on.

Myself, this board stinks.

But its not personal to me since I know not TLC

Infact he gave me the cold shoulder on IH when I posted to him.

To me the stink is SI is not defined as a market discussion board
where members communicate to buy/hold/sell to make a profit.

Once again to echo many others...

... people all over this board that have screamed first amendment!
I never have and never will believe that the first amendment
applies to private sites... an entry portal should be created
to SI, that everyone must past through to log in.
This entry portal could point people to different parts
of the board. For example: One portal could lead to SI;
an area limited to non-hype and civil discussion of financial issues.
Another portal may lead to IHub; a site limited to small cap
and bulletin board discussion.
Both sites may be linked to a common research area.
Other portals may be a Political Portal and a Coffee House.
Each portal could enforce a different TOU allowing... [stop]

ok,
As far as i'am concerned this thread should NOT be allowed
if SI wants to be knowed as Markets Investing message boards.

This thread is a Raging Bull type environment, aka cancer.

(more) TOU
