Nortel will not be in a position to file financial statements by the end of Oct (NT) 2004/10/27 09:50:59 3.37 -0.02: Co says it will not be in a position to file financial statements by the end of Oct 2004 as previously announced. The co now expects that it will file in mid Nov 2004 financial statements for the year 2003 and the first and second quarters of 2004, and related periodic reports. As a result of the delay mentioned above, the co does not expect to file financial statements for Q3 of 2004 and related periodic reports by the required deadlines in Nov 2004. The co will therefore be filing with the SEC a Form 12b-25 Notification of Late Filing relating to the delay in filing their quarterly reports on Form 10-Q for Q3 of 2004. The co expects that it will announce limited preliminary unaudited financial results for Q3 of 2004 by the end of Nov 2004 and file their financial statements and related periodic reports for Q3 in mid-Dec 2004.
