The rich never serve. I used classless in a more general sense that once in this army there are no classes--they are pros but i agree with you about the mess we are in. And its the nation building thing that screwed us. IF only kosovo and afganistan hadnt been so easy. If only this administration would hve recognized error and shifted course or explained why further sacrifice would be necessary to the american people. I just posted Hitchens backhanded endorsement of kerry. Part of me wants to vote for kerry too. Bush recognized the WOT when the DEms were being dominated by Move On and Michael Moore. But he was CEO and we failed in iraq. Maybe Kerry will lead the democrats away from their dangerous naivite and islolationist tendencies. Maybe he will be this gens FDR in getting american to recognize the danger. Man this gets more and more confusing. mike
