I remember you telling me about that drama festival thing up there, with all the avant garde productions. It sounded like so much fun. DId you go this year?
I do suspect you are one of those people (like Carole) who finds adventure and entertainment in most of what life offers up.
We were talking to CW about picking partners this past weekend and while I emphasized a sense of humor, it never occurred to me to mention looking for someone with that kind of optimistic attitude about life. Those attitudes seem to be in place early. I notice the difference in the kids in the choirs. There are those who, when the director says let's stand and sing this, leap to their feet eagerly, and then there are the whiners who go, Awwww, I;m too ti-i-ired.
And with hard pieces of music, those who go yeah, we can learn this. Le'ts sing it again! and others who whimper, I can't DOOOOOO it. It's tooo harrrrrd.
Whining must be the least attractive human trait.
When dogs whine, they are cute.
The last we heard, Ammo will have a large bundle of his clothes in his arms that hopefully will cover a lot of the real Ammo. I think wearing a Speedo for so many years on swim teams inured him somewhat to feeling vulnerable while naked.
I will try to approach the show with that eager, adventurous spirit. |
