Sounds like we have some common ground somewhere.

There are many opportunists in both parties.

I suppose that you look at Bush's religious doctrine, and are apprehensive that he might be allowing religious dogma to taint his decisions.

Even though I am an atheist, I look at Bush's professed religious beliefs and I see someone driven by principle and ethics. The great majority of our politicians are driven by less ethical reasons.

How about the Kerry/Edwards ticket? Were they the Democrat candidates of your choosing? Who would you have preferred to Kerry, if anyone?
