Ray > The great bulk of the American public have been trained to be obsequious followers, and they're doing a damn good job of it.
I agree. In fact, I always say if they can get people to believe in religion, they'll get them to believe anything. In fact, from the American movies they show here on TV, the "subliminal" agenda is clear -- irrespective of the movie everyone must smoke and all the time, then they shove XXX porn and raw violence into one's face until one wants to puke -- and then they come with the "salvation" movies about how good people go to church and believe in God -- and finally, movie after movie about how the Jews survived the Holocaust. After all that conditioning, one can face anything -- and that includes the news on CNN or Maria Bartiromo on CNBC.

I'll wager that no contribution ever gets to any real political party.
> The first three arguments here in favor of altering Oregon's constitution to declare marriage to be only between men and women are clearly wonderful satires
Seems like someone is intentionally trying to use the bible to make a mockery of the holy institution of marriage. And, let's face it, if there wasn't a hole people wouldn't be getting married. The hole problem is what constitutes a proper hole. Or, perhaps I should say, whose?! Indeed, one wonders why they need the bible to tell them that. An anatomy book should have been enough. |
