I am pretty sure they will soon file their PMA. This volume and increasing price means that some people either know this will happen soon, anticipate it, or fear it (shorts). The question then will be will it be approved. If approved, the company will do very well indeed. There is the issue of reimbursement i.e. the insurers are reluctant to reimburse for more expensive Pap tests even if they are better. I think the Neopath technology may provide the best of both worlds better tests at a lower price, but the question still is: Have they perfected it? I don't know the answer to that. I wish I did. In the meantime, it looks like we will be going up for a while.
