Copy, not Backup, seems the best way. I see that Wugnet has some software on their weekly pick to do this automatically with scheduling and other goodies.

I've ordered a FIC PA 2007 Mainboard which supports the new drive spec. If I get the Win95 in the OES version that uses space efficiently, we'll do the whole thing in one swell foop, maybe on a new disk.

As long as the another slower drive present does not slow other operations besides copying to the slower disk, it looks good.

I do the critical financial BU onto floppy daily and wouldn't change that.
