No Mike, it goes to the heart of the issue for people who actually have to deal with these things. Saddam fooled around with his own brand of terror about 15 years ago -- that is true. But he was, until his "removal", a force holding back the Jihadists. Now that he is gone they have free reign in Iraq. They wound and kill our soldiers every day and they gained access to weapons materials like plastic explosives in massive quantities that they would otherwise have paid a fortune to buy in small quantities -- no joke Mike, Bin Laden has friends in Washington. We gave Iraq and its powerful cache of conventional weapons to Bin Laden and he is enjoying it thoroughly. Invading Iraq was a giant step backwards for the war on terror.
