On what you seem to object too. sorry, don't have time to fix the typos. Research is not banned on any kind of stem cells. If research done by killing human life, ie using embryonic stem cells promises so many wonderful anything, it seem every liberal idiot is too cheap to contribute to that reseach. private funded research is not banned Informed technologist and business men simply put the money where the expected return is. It seems all the liberals are too cheap to put money where their moaning is. Such a bunch of whinning babies. samo samo lamo. I do not want money I pay in taxes used to support the killing of innocent human life. The President respects my opinion. You are free to fund killing innocent human life with your money. The President did however allow funding for research with existing embryonic stem cell lines. I did not care for that myself. As to gas and all the alternative crap. Why play a ponzi scheme of shifting expenses. If it mades sense economically and technically to create alternatives, hybrids, etc American Engineers and scientists would do it. Taxes get redirected, wasted and pocketed at extremely high percentages. If the cost of fuel goes up naturally, alternatives become attractive naturally. It may be in twenty years nano technology will make cures possible for diseases and be able to built complex techno strutures that make some alternative energy storage and release possible that is clean and cost effective. As to gas taxes. those at the lowest economic level are least likely to be informed in how to get back the taxes they have paid and they will suffer the most from the economic loss. Fill out a tax form? can they read and write? What is purpose of admitting one made a mistake? I have only seen choices made at time when they made reasonable sense with what was known for certain whey they were made. Can you honestly provide a detailed informed discussion of a dicision knowing exactly what was known and say that was a mistake. 50 million now are freed in the Middle East, is that a mistake? What bill would I have vetoed. I can think of none that I know enough about to say for certain that was wrong. The infusion of the birth of freedom in the Middle East my cause some pain. All birth causes pain. Cutting energy usage??? LOL... American productivty has increased how many percent during the last four years. What percentage of that is because we make more and more with less energy. I have literally three dozen compack floresent bulbs all over my house. Do you know what they are and do you use any. I see the health plans proposed by the President as both comprehensive and rational.
