Analysis: Arafat's departure would remove main justification for Gaza plan
It would undermine the claim that 'there is no partner' for peace, which is used to justify Ariel Sharon's unilateral disengagement plan.

When Arafat goes, hopefully by the weekend - hope of hopes, there won't be anyone who can reign in all the Palestinians for years. The territories are going to end up as a bunch of little ganglord fiefdoms, none powerful enough to hold the whole bag. Somalia.
