Peter:
Agree fully with not giving a list of companies. In this case (angio), however, I wanted to give an overview of participants and say "let's look elsewhere for clear signals and investments". You said that you like the maligned and micro-caps of the world. While I wouldn't go that far, I do like to look for "venture" returns. With the exception of GNE and SCIO, two companies that I feel won't return venture-like returns, I think it's too early to jump.
I realize that a long list of companies can be overwhelming, and that you want to focus, both on a few companies and on science. You asked about angio........... I tried to answer giving the reader a feel for the spectrum of projects and, at the same time, say "let's not expand to angio from Techniclone". An in-depth analysis on any of these efforts/products is beyond where I want to venture.
That is, my post was an attempt to say......... "Let's look elsewhere, some interesting concepts/companies are already on the table, and Boyce and I need help with SIBI". I should have just said that. On the other hand, some of the companies mentioned have balanced research programs.
I posted the SIBI information on the SIBI thread because it appeared that anything posted here would be buried in spam. Feel free to copy it here...... it's meant for comment and criticism. I know that at least Miljenko has his doubts, and it sounds like you do too. I have no vested interest in the company (other than a desire to get out if the science doesn't justify hanging around), particularly one where I don't have sufficient expertise to judge several of the projects. Any help would be appreciated.
I will be largely distracted and absent for the next 5-6 days.
