The Dan Darling article you posted confuses me from the start, so before I try to understand it, help me out.

Darling starts off by referring to Joe Wilson as a liar.

Now, what I understand of the Joe Wilson saga is:

1. Bush stated in his Jan 2003 State of the Union Address that Iraq tried to obtain uranium (yellowcake) from Nigeria.

2. Some months later, Wilson stated that Bush erred in making that statement because, months before Bush's address, the CIA had determined that documents purporting to prove the Iraqi uranium purchase attempt were forgeries.

3. The CIA Director, George Tenet, agreed that the statement President Bush made about Iraqi/Nigerian unranium was inaccurate and should not have been in the State of the Union Address, and took the blame for not editing it out.

4. At some point an unidentified White House source committed a felony by leaking classified information to columist Robert Novak identifying Wilson's wife, Valerie Plame, as an undercover CIA operative.

I understand there was a lot of political stuff going on around this, but are the four points listed above accurate?
