People have forgotten that for seven and a half years, we found weapons of mass destruction. We were destroying weapons of mass destruction. We were, the United States of America, together with Ambassador Butler, and the United Nations.

Good grief, fella, why are you so worried about such insignificant details?

So the man flip flops like a wet mop, and has a better instinct for how the winds blow than a windmill. That doesn't really bother you, does it? After all, all that is old news.
