It's a fallacy to pick out the mania price and use that as a benchmark, same as picking 1929 in the DOW for all comparisons over the next 50 years. The 1959 to 2003 saw a 12x increase as compared to the US dollar, and I expect the next 44 years to see a much greater change. I think this because the fiscal behavior of the US has escalated significantly in the past decade [edit: in a negative way], and so I view the last 44 years as the tame years for our beloved clownbuck.
