[Asian xDSL]

Good article Dr. Steve,

However, I'm confused. The report says: " ten
years from now almost three quarters of the xDSL installations in the world will be located in the Asian/Pacific Rim region." Yet the chart at the bottom say 3782000 out of a world wide total of 5152000 lines, 73%, will be in the Asian/Pacific Rim region by 2001---in just 3+ years.. Regardless how you cut it "the xDSL market in the Far East will go through the roof." With partners like NEC, Sumitomo, and TXN it's hard not feeling too smug. :-)

plain ol Steve
