would agree that if Kerry is elected there will be a substantial fall in equity prices and economic activity (wonder why Gore did not fight for re-election). The second likely outcome a contested election process may not dampen the DOT.COM mania but it may intensify it. As to the overhang of unlocked shares of insider, in a mania, it is irrelevant IMHO
