Look, Republicans learned their lesson in Watergate. Democrats, with their friendly media bias, have been subjected to no such lesson so they are still up to their dirty tricks.
In my area, the dirty tricks are pulling up republican signs. Nobody is doing that to the democrat signs.
Michael Moore was free to send his corrupt diatribe through our theatres and video stores, but Sinclair broadcasting was forced to keep innocuous testimony from veterans who know John Kerry, "Stolen Honor," off the air.
MoveOn.Org is free to disseminate hateful trash; the NRA is precluded from its first amendment rights.
Your problem is that intellectual freedom is sacred as long as the ideas are the same as yours. Here's an example of what I mean, right here on SI.

John Kerry for President: Bookmarks bookmarks 123, bans 70 = 57 percent. Following the stated thread rules of not posting any anti-Kerry messages, I was summarily banned. NOTHING that I posted was anti-Kerry.

You democrats talk up a good story but you don't back it up with behavior. John Kerry is the same kind of person, and you would do well to find another hero.
