Republicans are not that vindictive. They reject the unethical behavior of Democrats and their liberal media allies. It would be shocking to see a Comptroller in a state like Montana, or Georgia threaten to sue the NYTimes for destroying shareholder value due to partisanship. The entire media establishment would instantly come to their defense. Partisanship by leftwingers is called independence. Partisanship by rightwingers is called wrong. Why has the liberal media not decried Kerry for hiding his less than honorable discharge? Why is Dan Rather still on the air?
