Well, Berlusconi on his own is harmless... but if Schroeder is out and, say, Edmund Stoiber succeeds him then Europe as a whole will tilt further to the right... Berlusconi is a clown but a very rich one, and so I don't consider him harmless. As for Shroeder, I just don't see Germany going right. ted
