You're entering this discussion a little late. We were talking about threat to the United States, particularly an imminent threat. Hitler was neither. He didn't attack us. So what if he declared war on us? He wasn't about to send troops, bomb, or occupy here.

Importantly, we launched a pre-emptive war against Germany by providing men and materials to our European friends, in their battle against him.

Next time you barge into a conversation in the middle, try getting up to speed before you start the name-calling and insults. Didn't the U. of Marine Corps teach you anything?

Btw, looks like Bush has a chance of actually winning Hawaii, which would be enormous. Hawaiians have a very personal understanding of surprise attacks.
