If intel asp is in the range of $150 and gross margins are around 60%, wouldn't that suggest a cpu costs near $60 on average?

Of course, this analysis is a bit troubled by the fact that Intel sells CPUs with a wide range of manufacturing costs and at a very wide range of price points (and those to factors aren't always strongly correlated. Xeon cost ~= P4 cost, Xeon price != P4 price. neat trick that.)
