Sanctions would never have been ended. Supervision would never have been ended, not in Saddam or his sons' lifetime. To suggest otherwise is to engage in fantasy. Fact: UN officials directly connected to the UNMOVIC and IAEA Iraq-related supervision programs have confirmed this. Fact: only those who try to justify an illegal war against a puny and defanged enemy try to suggest otherwise.
