Further you knew that your estimates of chips per wafer was high according to "your" model, using world class yields.

Huh? If you're referring to the pdf file you posted, that was a 145mm2 NorthWood on a 200mm wafer Einstein. Intel hasn't made that die since early 2003. Dothan is 84mm2 and on 300mm wafers. The 612 GDPW is what you'd get with what I have been using to estimate AMD's yields, if you bothered to plug in the numbers that is. Obviously you didn't or you would have seen your mistake. 9.17mm on a side. 300mm wafer. 753 gross die. 0.25d/cm2 just like the pdf says. 612 GDPW.

You are frankly making a very foolish argument here if you can't even follow the conversation and it's not worth my trouble arguing with you. This was all hypothetical in the first place and you're taking it much too personally.
