Intel had $2,373M operating income and microprocessor sales were $5,928M last quarter. So if their ASP dropped by 40%, they would be losing money. (100*2373/5928=40) That's an ASP of about $90, maybe $95.

I don't think an average ASP of $90 at Intel would eat into AMD's market share by much. Intel-based products would still be slightly more expensive than AMD-based products, so there would be little incentive to switch. And AMD would still own the high end where Intel can't produce anything.
