Saddam is not Hitler. Not even close. Hitler was an imminent threat to us. Do you remember that this was a World War and not some dictator in a small third world country? Saddam was killing people while he was being supported by the US. Saddam was killing people while Rumsfeld was shaking his hand. We did not topple him because he had been killing people for 30 years. As the story NOW GOES, Bush mulled about toppling Saddam in 1999 so that he could be a better President than his Dad. Why would genocide ever be acceptable? It doesn't have to be a 'threat' to us, it's simply unacceptable. Don't you want to live in a world where mass murder doesn't happen? What would be wrong with that?
