I think the uncivilized world loves Bush. He is bringing them all the attention they could ever get. Maybe that is why Iran loves the guy (assuming Sun Tzu is correct that 66% of the Iranians want him back for 4 more years.) He is trying to build regional stability so that massive reconstruction can begin. Democracies are established across the region. Pakistan, Turkey, and Iraq. Ultimately, law enforcement will reach an acceptable standard so that people can get back to a better life. Look at the price of oil - $51 a barrel with no relief in sight. The Saudis are ecstatic. Only the airline analysts are still clinging to lower oil prices over the long term under $40 a barrel.

Meanwhile, the European are seething because they lost the opportunity to maintain economic control of Iraq under the bribes set forth in the food for oil program. Frankly, I am surprised to see the low numbers from China since they are becoming so reliant on imported oil.

Outside of the US, everyone has everything to gain & nothing to lose by flipping the bird at Bush. If they can get a statesman like Kerry, maybe he will share a bigger piece of the pie. I think Bush and Cheney are more than capable of delivering the whole theatre for reconstruction into US hands. Meanwhile, all they Europeans have to do is kick back and insult Bush to remain out of harms way. It's not like any of them will have a chance to visit Baghdad any time soon. Why not show sympathy towards the Bin Laden side so that he doesn't blow up any trains or planes in your country.
