CR-these people have all been lobotomized anyway--the repubs have shot themselves in the foot with their "preaching to the choir"--traditionally you changed your mind after you heard the candidate speak--you don't need to convince your base. So they haven't picked up any votes in their rallies. Funny in 2000 I made my kids go to see Gore and Bush speak (California). There were so few people at the bush rally my daughter muscled up after Bush spoke and shook his hand. No security.
